The underwater outlet inspection project in Songjiang District, Shanghai has been carried out smoothly. Recently, Chengfeng Technology was entrusted by an environmental protection unit in Shanghai to implement comprehensive and in-depth water and underwater outlet inspection and monitoring services for 20 rivers in a certain area of Songjiang District, Shanghai. This project aims to accurately obtain various information about the outlets and lay a solid foundation for subsequent water environment management.
This project uses Chengfeng W120 intelligent side-scanning unmanned boats for on-site inspection operations. During the underwater outlet inspection operation, many river sections have shallow drafts, and some bridges above the river are too low, and ordinary ships cannot navigate. Chengfeng side-scanning unmanned boats have shallow drafts and small hulls. They can pass through various obstacles smoothly and finally complete the inspection work smoothly.
Compared with traditional inspection methods, intelligent unmanned boats can achieve: unmanned remote control, GPS navigation positioning, free navigation and automatic obstacle avoidance. It can avoid personnel safety hazards to the greatest extent and greatly improve the efficiency of underwater outlet inspections.
During the on-site operation, the technicians used the Chengfeng W120 side-scanning unmanned boat to check the outlets underwater in the river section. The unmanned boat was controlled by a remote control and performed a unilateral side scan on both sides of the river. During the on-site operation, the sonar image was transmitted to the portable base station on the ground in real time. Through the staff operating the base station side-scan software, the sonar images of the river bottom and both sides were obtained in real time, and the suspected outlets were reviewed on site. Combined with the detailed analysis later, it was finally determined whether there was an underwater outlet.
Chengfeng Technology used advanced scanning unmanned boat technology to provide important data references for the underwater outlet inspection project in Songjiang District, Shanghai. The use of unmanned boats not only improves work efficiency and reduces work risks, but also provides more accurate data support for the inspection of concealed pipes, demonstrating the important role of scientific and technological innovation in the field of environmental protection.
Looking to the future, with the continuous advancement of technology, Chengfeng Technology's unmanned boat system will continue to improve and innovate, and provide more reliable and safe underwater facility management and maintenance solutions for energy, marine engineering, environmental protection and other fields.
