Recently, Chengfeng Technology was invited by a research institute to carry out a fishway flow measurement project in a reservoir in Linzhi, Tibet.
In combination with the project requirements, the technical team accurately arranged 24 high-precision measurement points in each type of fishway to comprehensively collect the flow velocity and flow direction data in the fishway, aiming to provide solid data support for the study of fish migration habits and resting environment, and promote ecological harmony and coexistence.
In the flow field measurement of the fishway of Duobu Hydropower Station in Linzhi, Tibet, Chengfeng Technology used the industry-leading flow field measurement instrument-Xylem Sontek FlowTracker2 handheld Doppler current meter, combined with its advanced data analysis technology, by arranging multiple flow measurement points in each fishway, and using FT2 flow meter to comprehensively capture the flow velocity and flow direction distribution of the water in the fishway. Through the flow field analysis of ordinary fishways, return bays and rest rooms, the flow field analysis of different points in different fishways is mastered.
This project not only accurately obtains the flow characteristics of complex waters around the hydropower station, but also provides solid data support for protecting the local ecological environment and optimizing fish migration channels. Chengfeng Technology once again demonstrated its profound strength and responsibility in the field of water conservancy projects and ecological protection with practical actions, and made important contributions to promoting the harmonious integration of green energy and ecology.
It is worth mentioning that the FT2 flow meter has strong adaptability and measurement accuracy with its comprehensive functions, modern design (integrated Bluetooth, GPS, large color screen, etc.) and sturdy and durable structure, its sampling frequency of up to 10.0MHz, low noise background, and small standard error ensure the accuracy and reliability of data sampling, the sampling point is only 10cm away from the center probe, which further improves the measurement precision and provides important technical support for the completion of this measurement task.
The successful implementation of the fishway flow measurement project in Linzhi Reservoir, Tibet, not only marks another breakthrough of Chengfeng Technology in the field of integration of water conservancy projects and ecological protection, but also a powerful practice of the development concept of "Green water and green mountains are gold and silver mountains".
